IMHO, Broadhead wont come now, to many things have changed including our wage structure, he still wants prem wages, not ganna happen here. that is a fact.
either they talk sensible wages or its left alone.

So Broadhead isn’t the guy who’s close?

He’s clearly not gona get a game for Everton so you’d think he would be more realistic

Tbh, I wouldn't break our wage structure for Broadhead. He's awesome when fit, but he missed a lot if last season injured.

this is why the player and his agent need to be realistic, he did very well for us WHEN fit but that was also in league one, he has to not only prove it was a one off season in regards to his injury problems but also that he can score goals in the championship, he is basically still unproven and it is now becoming obvious that everton do not think it is worth taking a risk with him in his own team.

his best option imho, would be to take the best offer he has and establish himself (possibly along the lines of pritchard and evans) in another, lower league... if he has confidence in himself to do it then he is young enough to still get a damn good career.

Nee chance would I be breaking wage structures etc for Broadhead. We shouldn't do it for anyone tbh, it ****s about with the current squad contracts and creates a mess in terms of moral; and everyone will want a better deal. If Broadhead is being greedy then jog on. If its his agent then, Nathan, you need another agent mate. Come and join us at Wembley for another playoff win. You've seen nowt yet. <cheers>:emoticon-0104-surpr<laugh>

There is no breaking of the structure. None.

I totally agree mate. Add into that we are a club that has been stung plenty times before with wages and under par players. Not saying he is under par but like you said unproven in the championship.
