Same here, if it's us or another championship side offering similar wages I'd fancy our chances. It couldn't have gone any better for him last time and lots of the same players are still at the club.
This has to go down as the worst transfer of all time, when you consider the whole story. They lost him for nothing to Juventus, where he went on to win 4 league titles (8 trophies) and be in the Serie A team of the year 3 years running. Then they pay £90m for him and give him £300k a week (another £90m in wages over 6 years) and never once in that time build a team around him or played to his strengths. Now he leaves again on a free. Pogba is obviously culpable for his performances at Man Utd to an extent, but his performances in a France and Juve shirt is proof that he's a far better player than we've seen at Man Utd.
I think attitude is part of his problem. Ferguson got rid of him as a young 'un because of his attitude in training, maybe he was indulged a bit more at Juve and is with France so he turns better performances in. It's probably that attitude that got him to clash with managers and other players. Saying that, I don't think there was ever a plan of building a team around him or how to get the best out of him. He seems to me to have been bought as a purely commercial transfer, something Man U under Woodward seemed to do a lot.
