    Arkadiusz Milik - Poland - F
    Stuart Dallas - N Ireland - M
    Jamie Ward - N Ireland - M

If we sell Phillips it is just another statement by the club to say forget about any future promotion prospects.
Agree he has not been as good as in the past but then again when we have a team of low quality, what do you expect? He made a few good passes to Polter last season which he squandered. So is it his fault or Polter's?
Said before that selling too many good players and replacing them with inferior ones is not always the answer. Mackie is a good example of good work rate no skill.
The one thing about getting out of this division is that you need a team that actually has the ability to do it. This week has seen both Polter and Mackie ready to get back to training yet neither should be a realistic first team player.

It's the only answer we can afford Ellers. Perhaps Jimmy can do what Conte has with Italy and create a team which is considerably more than the sum of its parts. Here's hoping.

I think Italians have a good upbringing when it comes to skill. Sometimes I watch us (QPR) and think, what do these players do all week, surely they should work on basic skills? I mean they are supposed to be professionals after all. When I hear comments of players having a good work rate, it doesn't make me feel excited, they should have good work rates as athletes. However, I take your point. Uncle Tone has blown all his pocket money in the sweet shop on the wrong sweets.

It is quite often the case that a team of no great individuals come together, they can create a great team work ethic.
Look at anyone of them individually and no much stands out.
I think this comes down to seeing how good the manager is.
Only he can make them 'click' ................... as we all know too well, Harry couldn't make jelly, gel.

I like that list Raj, well scouted. The Albanians have impressed me and seem very dedicated and hard working, could be a good fit for the Championship. The N Ireland lads know the division and would also be good additions. Baumgartlinger would be great, not so sure he'd leave Mainz and the Bundesliga for us though. Milik unfortunately there is no chance he's coming to us. 22 years old and 21 in 31 in his forst year for Ajax last season, we might as well go for Lewandowski. Dzsudzsak is one of the biggest stars in the Russian league and probably on obscene wages so can't see us affording him, and he will probably have more attracting suitors after the Euro's as well. But if we could get a couple of those or similar signed we'd have done well imo.

QPR agree deal to sign Borysiuk

QPR have agreed a deal to sign Legia Warsaw midfielder Ariel Borysiuk.

The 24-year-old, a Poland international, will undergo a medical later this week afterRangers’ offer of around £800,000 was accepted.

Borysiuk started his career at Legia and returned there in January following spells at Lechia Gdansk and German side Kaiserslautern.

Rangers want to complete the signing of at least one midfield player before their pre-season campaign begins with a friendly at Aldershot Town on 1 July.

They have spoken to Belgian club Oud-Heverlee Leuven about a potential deal to sign former Tottenham midfielder John Bostock, who is keen to return to England.

QPR also want Arsenal youngster Isaac Hayden and remain keen to sign left-back Jake Bidwell from Brentford and Huddersfield centre-back Joel Lynch despite the respective Championship clubs being reluctant to sell.

And West Brom, who had a bid for Matt Phillips rejected last summer, have made a fresh enquiry about the winger but are yet to make an offer.

    So that's;

2 new CM's we're looking at with Borysiuk and Bostock

2 new CB's with Lynch and Hayden

    1 LB with Jake Bidwell

From the Polish press this morning it seems to be a done deal. I have done some research on him and can say that he seems to be a rough diamond.

He played for Legia Warsaw for quite a long time during which he even got two caps for the Polish National team. He then made a transfer to Kaiserlautern in the German league and his debut is infamous for receiving two yellow cards, thus a sending off! However, he did not develop in Germany and returned to the Lechia Gdansk in the Polish league. There he was developing into a leader of the team and was re-signed by Legia Warsaw.

Last season he played only 15 games for Legia so seems to be a fringe player, or he was injured, however Legia have a reasonably good team and won the Polish league. For last season in Legia, Borysiuk received an accumulative rating of 3,3 (maximum is 6) and he came 12th out of 31 rated players, which is quite good, as above him there are a few internationals.

He seems to be an intelligent player who is a playmaker and has a good football vision. He is an accurate passer of a weighted ball (both short and long passes) and can also defend!

In short, he does have talent, but has never to date fulfilled his true potential. It may be a shrewd buy and I hope that he is able to develop and reach his full potential.

He has the potential - but will he given the suport and time to develop and integrate into the team as we are generally quite fickle. He certainly has probelms in Germany.

The good news is that he should be onboard for the pre-season.

    Let's hope, wait and see.

I saw Borysiuk play for Lechia Gdansk against Slaw Wrochlaw last december. I remember he been quite a good with a ball and his passes found his team mates good enough. I remember him scoring a spectacular goal bit it was ruled offside. Should be a good enough signing

My only concern is if he will be tough enough for the Championship.

Yes, thats true but he has also played in 2.bundesliga,with Kaiserslautern, which a bit of physical league too. Anyway i think that he is a typical "low risk and high reward (hopefully)"-type signing which is good financially compared our disgraceful history of signings recent years.

We can expect anything under 1 million to be a roughie.
Polishing ( a rough diamond ) normally starts about 4-5 million a half decent player.

However, the last couple of gaffers paid a fortune for some zirconia, so we can only hope.

Fuly agree. At only 24 he has a large amount of experience and still room for development.

But, let's see if WE have the coaching skill to develop him to his full potential. Seems like a task for Chris Ramsey?
