Good to read that Luke Berry will be joining us . Rob Edwardes is extremely complimentary about him & the role he played in the dressing room at Luton Town last season. He is just the type of player & leader that we have been crying out for - I think there is every chance he will be made skipper.
Back to transfer talk, as we already have 15 threads that discuss Elfs… Alfie May - the player himself has said that he’s very happy at the club, he lives fairly locally and wants to stay . Unless a Championship club comes in and pays money for a player unproven at that level and over 30 years old …which seems unlikely ….any talk of him leaving should be seen as the Summer forum BS that it is.
You really need to do some self-reflection. Yet again you have created posts with snide criticism of this forum and the way it operates. Why ? It’s not your personal forum where you can dictate what is and isn’t discussed I’m afraid. And you clearly didn’t look up the word irony as I suggested you should. Your post on this thread starts with “Back to transfer talk” and then immediately exaggerates and comments on posts related to Elfs ? And then goes on to say that any talk of Alfie May leaving “should be seen” as “forum BS”, when the only person who has mentioned Alfie May leaving is ?…………..YOU. Whether you are strong enough to reply to this is of course entirely up to you. Please feel free to post on whatever subjects you feel comfortable with and ignore threads that you don’t, but PLEASE, I ASK YET AGAIN, CUT OUT THE SNIDE PERSONAL COMMENTS AND CRITICISM OF THE WAY THIS FORUM OPERATES. Thank you.
Alex Mitchell from Millwall, on a free transfer. I can’t say I know much about him, but we badly needed strengthening in that section of the pitch.
He had a good Season with Lincoln. He is big and aggressive. What used to be called a no nonsense defender.
A bit more about him here…. https://londonnewsonline.co.uk/sport/exclusive-charlton-athletic-eye-deal-for-millwall-centre-back/
Charlton Athletic have agreed a fee with Millwall over the signing of defender Alex Mitchell, with a three year deal expected to be signed. The South London club have beaten former loan club Lincoln City to a permanent move. Deal seems to be done
