Can't blame if he chooses to play in a full stadium every week instead of a half empty one in a beautiful part of the country.
Is this first step on the way to becoming their feeder club? You are half right, he will indeed be playing in front of a half empty stadium when he is loaned back to us.
Would hope the new owners would hold out for at least 15-20m which is clearly far more than he's worth. Selling him for any less after the statement of intent would be rubbish.
Norwich boss Dean Smith on Jacob Greaves links this morning: “No, he’s not somebody that we’ve spoken about.”
I think there's a point in the development of a player where you're going to get the best value for them. We sold Bowen at about the right time. When he'd proven himself over 2-3 years, but was still young and realistically wasn't going to be tied down to a long-term contract. It's still too early for Greaves and KLP I think. They've got more to give us at this level, whereas Bowen had become too good for it. Their value will increase over the next year or two if they keep improving at this level. Then if they've outgrown us that would be the time to let them go and get a good fee.
Even if it were true.... I would have hoped Burnsy would have kept his gob shut until after the sale is completed...
Very irresponsible but it's come to be expected from him. Giddy as soon as he gets sniff of a story even when it's immediately proven false after investigation.
He needs something to post about seen as the new owners aren't giving him anything. They like many of us, don't like his constant negativity
Jesus he's just reporting a transfer rumour he's heard. People are really desperate to be mad at Burnsy.
Funny how he seems to say this with Glee. I’m convinced he loves the downfall of anything Hull City. Ban him for life
Perhaps as a journalist he could do his job and actually verify a rumour he heard down at the pub before publishing it.
