I've been worse than that mate. I got married on 28th April 1973,which had been arranged for a good 6 months......well,how was I to know we'd get through to the Cup Final?!! Honeymoon was 10 days in Paris in the Spring! I was ducking and diving like a good 'un after the match at Sheffield,but the only thing I managed to come up with was that I was needed back at work on the Monday 7th for something vitally important and therefore we'd have to cut the trip short and return on the Friday,flying into London,where I was meeting my Dad,who had my ticket!
Like you,she knew what she was getting with me and knew all along what was afoot, but played a game with me all week,pretending at one point to call my office to give them hell about needing me back!! I was panicking then a bit!!

Yeah, I'm unsure if that one is going ahead as it's gone quiet. It would also take us up to 6 loan players, so one of the loan lads wouldn't make the first team squad on a matchday.
Aye that’s a fair point, keeping a pretty good squad happy is gonna be difficult. Bringing young lads in on loan from Germany I’d be thinking they’ll be to start or at very least on the bench.

I'd be expecting the keeper to be a starter at the very least, maybe Djaku will start on the bench initially. I'd be happy enough if we don't sign Alebiosu, Winch and Huggins should give us enough cover there.
