Gabriel starting for Forest at right back today - live on sky 4:30 kick off.

chance to check him out.

him playing doesn’t mean he’s staying - he’s their only right back at moment

Like Baily Wright yesterday. Las nest to me said to his mate "eh, I thought he wasn't number 5".

hope our left back is in asap, after dropping out of the gallagher deal because 'a better option came up' i thought it would be done and dusted by now...as in, the 'better' option was more or less done otherwise seems strange to leave an almost done deal to begin the process all over again with a chance of losing out.

there again, as we well know it could all have been media bollox with the odd 'wanna be ITK' throwing a bit of rubbish out there to look important.

Or the price wasn't right his wage demands and sell on clauses may have been to much

Might hear about the Cirkin deal early this week. I am hoping he is clearing his locker now. Would be still hopeful this is the one.

I think Dan Neil is the best of all of our young lads. I think he will play premier league football. I have no qualms with his effort yesterday at all but I think he will come alive in midfield. I wonder whether a few months on loan is the way forward for him because Embleton has come back and looks top drawer.

The way the squad is at the moment we need Dan Neil
However if we get some new faces
You are right a time out on loan and we could benefit as we did with embleton

He'll get games this season if he stays as he'll be in contention in midfield. Lots of injuries as suspensions. He'll be ruined if he stays at lb though. Can't have done his confidence any good yesterday

Not sure about that. Got caught out a few times but got better second half and ultimately we won. He is desperate to play this lad, no matter where he plays

Cant see him being ruined mate. Johnson wont let that happen and we saw leaders on the pitch helping like O'Nien and Doyle. On the ball he was quality. I hope he came off feeling good about it and will have learned plenty. Academies these days dont really let let young lads have a set position, they rotate them around on the basis you learn the game faster. I reckon he will be fine for a few games but once we see him in midfield we will be raving about him.

Other sides will target him for 90 mins and he'll be caught out for more than 1 goal ( their goal came from his side). It's madness to leave him their. A proper lb is a priority and must be signed asap
