when is the 'cut off day/time' for new players to be available for the next game, is it thursday tea time...or does that only count for last minute transfers to get them registered for the new season?

I’m not complaining, just think it’s unfair on Neil when he’s waited for his chance in midfield.

I’d rather O’Nien played there if we haven’t signed anyone.

That too would be hugely unfair. It's time O'Nein got a chance to play in his actual position. Not the players fault we can't put a team out with players in their natural positions. Last year was injury issues which come from all sorts of reasons. Had hoped we'd bring in young players on the up to mitigate those issues. Still waiting for that sadly.

On plus side we do have a more exciting hopefully more mobile midfield.

Yep, agree with that.

If Neil plays LB and they target him with Jones then his career here could suffer. We've seen it before albeit at a different level when one of our kids was selected to play RB against Man Utd and got destroyed by Lee Sharpe on the day and was never the same. Unfair to do that to Neil as it is patently not his position. 09 has at least played there before.

I agree mate, I just think O’Nien is more suited to the role.

I genuinely think we’ll have a good season once we get the squad sorted. Might be a bumpy ride for the first few weeks but we’ll get there.

Hope so. It shouldn't be touch to expect 2 full backs in. Fingers crossed but after the Gallacher breakdown I'll believe it only after the scalf photo.

FWIW Jebbison would be brilliant but he's still a massive distraction from the fact that he is third priority at most in terms of transfers needed.

sick to death of hearing about him to be honest,but there's **** all happening on any front at the moment ( unless you believe the ****esters) so you can't blame fans for clutching at straws. Still, its only wednesday..............

Ps just bought some sort of fruit milk concoction and it's revolutionised my life... Peach and pineapple. Very fruity.
