Remember that article over the weekend from Exeter press with their manager saying they won't sell Randall to Peterborough or Key to us unless we up our bids, well it looks like they have accepted an offer for Randall from Posh now.

Which could tell us any of the below:

  1. Posh fell for it and bid more
  2. Exeter now have less need to sell Key if they're getting cash from Posh
  3. Them accepting a bid for Randall proves they are willing to sell, so will likely do the same for Key as well
  4. Nothing because I'm talking in hypotheticals about hypotheticals

I did think it was really odd that the only reports in the press said it wasn't anywhere near done, yet everyone seemed to think it was.

It also now however seems that the only rumours of him not joining Sunderland are coming from bored Sunderland fans. If you search his name on twitter - its only us talking about him.
 
Well this has all gone doom and gloom again hasn't it. Sorry its my bipolar fault. Half expecting the next f***ing news story to be Craig Hope saying we have accepted Blackpool's bid for Embleton :D
 
maybe, they like to have a read of the local press and web groups and have seen some of the wet knickered girlie panic type posters...so have decided to hold all announcements back to make them sweat a bit longer.



...or maybe no one is going to join us...
 
The Gallacher leak and subsequent stories in the press didn't help them either. Because the whole "we have a plan" and "please be patient" narrative loses a bit of confidence when it appears that internally we don't know what we want.

Disappointing if true. Was looking forward to seeing the lad.
Young mobile and hard working with loads of potential just the kind of loan signing we should be making
Just the kind of forward signing we haven't made in the past.
Just have to hope we didn't have all our eggs in one basket and we have bids in for other strikers.
If we can pick up the right strike partner for Stewart we could be a handful this season.

Yeh the only people saying its off / he's going to rotherham are sunderland fans and then sunderland fans saying they've seen sunderland fans saying it.
