Ake or Tarkowski will probably cost £45m+

I'll have to disagree ... they are addressing obvious weak points ... just as Klopp has done at Liverpool ... anything but scattergun ... if they can also get Pogba playing then their spine is now pretty damn good ...

If I was OGS, and were intent on keeping and empowering Le Sulk, I'd try and get Kante from Chelsea, whatever the cost ...

that was part of a convo re Woodward and in the referred to previous years which i thought was obvious by the fact it was posted 4 days after the window opened -oh and no weaknesses had been addressed at all as no signings had been made.

Apparently Tarkowski has a £50 m release clause ... so I think he would be unlikely ...

Ajer in contrast seems like he might be available for around £15 m ...

think it is a good possibly very good window for them.
AWB isn't the full deal yet but shows every sign of being a top player within a couple of years if not sooner.
I think Maguire is pretty good though has the turning circle of a Volvo estate.
Hadn't seen anything of James till he got linked but like the little bit i've seen.
Obviously i hope all 3 are total failures plus Pogba down tools in Oct and Lingard & Rashford carry on concentrating on their youtube channel.<laugh>
