<laugh> ... there is also a story on how Klopp should just go and sign James Maddison to replace Gini Wijnaldum ... I suspect that when we tell them, no deal, and we value him at some ridiculously inflated price they will sway us by offering us 50% and will throw in Sturridge <doh>

Yea the fans were turning on him and once a scapegoat its hard to come back from it (lucas for pool, sissoko for spuds managed it).

I think you may miss him more than you think. Whilst he wasnt great defensively and he cant take a man on, he still has a deadly cross both first time and with space which harry and alli thrive off.

Now you have some unknowns back there, plus ndombele to settle in and if toby and eriksen leave then it could affect team chemistry
 
The season before last his first touch and delivery was spot on but he was a bit suspect at the back at times and lacked a bit of pace. As long as you are getting a replacement then all good I suppose. You also need to replace Rose as he's ****.

He didnt play that deadly cross enough mate...no where near enough. I know you think his crossing ability alone is worth 25 mill...but we werent seeing it often enough for where we are aiming
