We’ll get £75m for him all day, Inter ****ed us out of the Perisic deal for €5m and we are clearly just giving them a bit back. They will back Conte, they just need to sell some **** first.

Italian window doesn’t close until end of August, lots of time yet.

Only one club would be stupid enough to go for that deal. Unfortunately for Man Utd, it's them!
 
Rumours that United have come back with an £80 million bid for Maguire - £60 million up front plus £20 million in add ons.

Seems we have politely informed them that the add ons need to be added right now ... or no deal <laugh>

Inter won't pay that for him Tel. Your only hope for that kind of fee for Lukaku is from China. IMHO.

The Italian clubs, Juve aside possibly, just don't have the money any more. I think Inter would love Lukaku... but they can't afford the fee now being quoted ( and seemingly increased for no apparent, sensible, reason).

You shouldn't be so touchy. Most comments about transfers on here are merely opinions about other opinions ... nothing much more. United are not exampted from that ... even though some of their supporters might think they should be.

United have 2 seemingly dissatisfied players that they are struggling to shift partly because they are over pricing them ... Ed Woodward really is quite **** at this.

My opinion (and that's all it is) is that United should cut their losses, get what they can, and start a proper rebuild after cutting out the footballing warts that are making the club stumble along as Premier League also- rans <cheers>

They all seem to be skint and yet aren't cutting their cloth accordingly.
Lots of pointless attempts at loan deals and **** bids after tapping up players.

Inter can afford that if they wanted to. Theyve spent about that amount each summer since their takeover.

Plus if Icardi leaves then they will get more for him than £75m. It is more the case that they probably don’t want to spend that amount on Lukaku rather than not being able to

So it’s ok for Leicester to price a player well above his value but not us? Especially to the club who did exactly the same to us two summers ago... hmmmm.
