Tom Eaves has finally confirmed he is leaving Gillingham. Rumour that he is going to a Championship club, but don't know who as of yet, sorry to see the lad go.
 
On a serious note you've got one of our CB's on loan haven't ya, Alfie Jones?

Very highly rated by all accounts so will be interested to see what you think.

Tbph Libby, we have taken in so many players, I've lost count who we have got, at least 11 new players from my last count, all freebies too <laugh>

I've got to the stage where I will wait to watch them play in the new season then decide who is worth remembering.
 
A measure of how far we have come in ten years is that we were once gutted when loanees Jay Spearing and Tom Cleverly went back to their parent clubs ... the loan system is great for giving good match time to young players but it also has an anti climatic effect for the club bringing in loanees at the end of the loan ...

Surely a better measure would be the PL trophy, since then your squad has got weaker and other teams have got stronger.

and their star assets have left for some weird reason almost like they knew that it was a flash in the pan and Lesta arent really going places.
