A loanee who has demanded 40 starts and with no clause to buy him? Pass.
A defender who thinks that he'll get in ahead of Sokratis and Mustafi before Vertonghen, Alderweireld and Sanchez? Makes sense.
They've accepted offers from a club in a weaker position, because they can make bigger demands.

Points that I have been making from the start amid a barrage of third rate wummery from Pixie.

He sees these two signings as strengthening the Gunners, but I see them as destabilising moves that will weaken the Gunners.

I posted this a couple days ago on another thread but this goon really does nail it.

They’re so blinded by their hate for us that they think deals like signing Saliba for next season and loaning without an option to buy for Ceballos are “wins” for Arsenal.

I do t buy that one little bit.

We never sign loan players unless there’s a buy option attached.

Both Real and Ceballos have made it clear that it’s loan only as he sees his future still at Real.

Lol..about as salty as it gets

Two players that Spurs wanted to sign, decide join Arsenal instead and Kipper now thinks it will somehow weaken us. <laugh>

Literally every comment below it says no! <laugh>
Would rather we focus our funds on Lo Celso if Ceballos isn’t permanent.
Same. We don’t want to develop and nurture him to send back to RM come May.
Skip rather blood a youngster..... georgiou!!!!
Doubt it... runs contrary to everything I have ever seen Levy negotiate. The “Big club” mentality doesn’t mean agreeing to stupid loans like this. No deal without the option to buy!

Congratulations on the "stupid loan", though. <ok>

Accoring to Sky, there may be an option to buy him next summer

'Despite the lack of a buyout clause, Real Madrid have promised Arsenal that they will re-evaluate their position next summer and potentially discuss a permanent transfer then, according to Sky Italy journalist Fabrizio Romano.'

That's not an option to buy. They might want to sell him to you next year, if they decide that he's ****. Brilliant. <ok>
