Kips has been proper rattled since his prediction that Spurs would steal Arsenal's transfer targets has backfired on him. Saliba basically told Levy that he was a shyster **** and the player that Kipper and his eldest lad have been scouting for Spurs for the last few years, Ceballos looks like he might choose Arsenal over Spurs too. Also heard a rumour that Lidl have sold out of Bombay bad boy pot noodles since this transfer news broke.
You're in no position to be talking about hauntings mate You're gonna have to call in an exorcist to save you mate.
I should hope so mate, we pulled out of the deal once Madrid made it clear there’d be no purchase clause. Right now we need longevity in CM, Ceballos is a good player but doesn’t make sense to loan him for a season only for him to ether go back to Madrid or help Madrid make more dough for him next summer.
It suits us for a loan, as we're skint and lacking MF options. So we get a really good player for a season and don't have to fork out.
I have a suspicion you aren't skint but are buying squad fillers as cheap as you can by pretending you are, once you have those in the bag I think you may go after 1 or 2 big guns. I have no real reason for thinking this, just a hunch.
Yeah we've clearly got some dough, bit of a giveaway saying we've only got £40m, then spending £27m on Saliba and launching an initial 40m bid for Zaha. I think we're 100% in for Zaha, whether we can get him or not is another matter, but he's told Palace he wants to leave and join Arsenal, so that's 50% of the work done really. I reckon we might get him for around £50m plus a couple of players...or at least I hope we do. We still need a CB who can play for us this season too.
Levy works the other way, makes big noises and likes to be linked to players but always finds a reason not to buy them
Levy made himself look like a mug over the Saliba deal. Not that I'm complaining, he's basically wumming all Spurs fans with amateur stunts like that.
Also, it makes more sense for Palace to accept cash plus players, as Utd have got a 20%-25%? sell on fee. So Palace would be better off accepting a bid of around £50m plus 2 players, rather than a £70m cash deal where they have to give £15m back to Utd.
You know all the spuds on here are secretly fuming because it still shows the goons are seen as a bigger team and will be until the best trophy cabinet in world football sees something else aside dust and the odd dead fly.
If you pull that off they deserve to face back to back relegations for the sheer stupidity of accepting such a deal.
They need a RB as they've sold Wan Bissaka to Utd. Jenkinson is about as good as Wan Bissaka so they'd be mad not to accept
