I reckon they’d cut their losses and take what he stands them at on their balance sheet tbh mate. As it’s fair to say that move simply didn’t work for either him or Barca.

If he's going for £110m, then yes possibly the £27m could become part of an upfront payment I suppose. It's a ****ing lot of beans though whatever way you look at it.

Not really. Barca paid £105 plus add ons that could have made the total £142m. Given he’s hardly been a hit I doubt he’s triggered many of them.
He signed a 5 1/2 year deal in Jan 18, so his annual write down will be circa £20m. So next summer he’ll stand Barca at about £60m on their balance sheet (which is likely what they’ll still owe Liverpool) so the figures aren’t completely mental in the current market.
I doubt it he'll be available for £60m. As you say in the current market even if his deprecation meant he was around the £60m figure you can add 20% onto that straight off the bat because of the current conditions.
