I go out for a few hours and I miss so much. The Phillips signing is pleasing enough. I'd have preferred Jarvis, but you can't have everything. At least we're getting Fierro soon.

Wouldn't want him in the team. He might be a good player, he could earn us points on his own, but I couldn't support the prick.

Yeah,I know where you are coming from. It's very hard to support a great player who is a prick.

A bit like Cristiano Ronaldo,I couldn't care less if I saw him in my local coffee shop,I wouldn't ask for his autograph or talk to him because he would love that and I don't like the bloke at all even though he is a better human being than he was when he was at Man utd,I think so anyway, but if I saw Nigel Adkins then,of course,I would ask for his autograph and I'd buy him a drink because he is a brilliant manager and person.

kevin mirallas is goin for 6M... him or phillips? LOL

One, Mirallas is likely going to be end up on far higher wages than Phillips, which means that the expenditure really isn't all that equal. Two, he's more of a striker than a winger, while Phillips is perhaps a more natural fit in the hybrid 4-3-3, having played in it and excelled last year. I'd prefer Jarvis to Phillips, but both would represent quality signings...Phillips certainly didn't look out of place the handful of times I saw him when Blackpool was in the Prem, and while he was primarily a substitute he was also a teenager.

Just seen this - from some random lad on Twitter:

"@iTsMarvel_Twizz: Jeeeeez, My Cousin Just Got Signed To Southampton From Blackpool For £6 Million, So Happy For Him."

He plays for Corby Town himself. That'd be done a bit quick right?! I'm always cynical though.
