Have also heard Adkins refer to him as "Head of Recruitment". Would suggest he has quite a lot to do with transfers. I think he''s the bloke we headhunted from MK Dons and who worked closely with Karl Robinson.

Agreed. He turned us down last year because he didn´t think we were going to get promoted and his dream was to play in the prem, so I don´t see why he would want to drop back down to the championship after finally getting there.

He used to play for O'Driscoll at Doncaster. Therefore this story is definitely 100% true and not made up.
