I didn't express myself clearly; I would have them, but we can have better, and Celtic are well run and actually quite rich, so we would have to massively overpay, unless they players forced a move. And upfront we also have Lambert, Rodriguez, Sharp and Lee.
 
It doesn't help when people get attacked for having the audacity to post 'rumours' on the 'rumours' thread

C'mon people, yes it's a bit slow for rumours at the minute but this is only the rumours thread

I must admit i haven't posted for quite a while but i still check the site nearly every day especially the transfer rumour page and just recently it has been bombarded with stupid pathetic attention seeking posts,people trying to be funny when they quite clearly aren't.Just talk about damn transfer rumours,if you wanna talk **** go down the pub with ya mates and get pissed! Also noticed a few people like to gang up on individuals,this makes them feel big and superior when really they are nothing more than 'brave' bullying keyboard warriors.
 
Yep, the tone on this whole forum lately has been deplorable. I know there's no news but that doesn't mean you have to post borderline abusive crap all day.
 
Yeah I agree. I hate it when people disagree and then talk about why they disagree, it ruins the site for everyone else. It's really hard to just not read it.

I think you will find people come on here to read about transfers as the title would suggest,unfortunately they haven't got the skills to see what's wrote on the thread before they actually read it,when they do read it they realise what they walked in to,by that time it's too late.To just say not to read it is very simplistic.I am sure there is somewhere on the web where there are dicussions designed for talking crap,maybe said people should try and find them and leave the transfer page to the people who want to talk and read about transfers.That's all i'm going to say as this is a non transfer related post.

Yeah and once you've read one post, if you don't read them all then.. erm, I don't know, nothing bad will happen? I came in yesterday, skimmed the first few posts, realised it was talking about the Walcott bullshit and no new rumours so stopped reading. Took me 20 seconds. But I suppose if you don't waste time reading everything you can't pat yourself on the back with a quip like "go down the pub and get drunk LOL!", right?

Is anybody starting to worry a touch about the CB position? Seems to me the one position in which a couple of games would be vital to imrove an understanding...remember FOnte and Hooiveld in their first game against Forst at home looked on completely different wavelengths. of course NA knows this so I just worry that our targets may not have come off.

I'm sorry but I fail to understand how the hell can you judge them on their first ever game together when Jos had only been here a few days? Especially considering there were many other games throughout the season where they looked like an outstanding partnership.

I believe the point he was making as that we need to get a CB in quickly, as even good centre-backs take a while to gel and play well together...
 
It is deffo highlighted by Saints fans alike that we need a center back with pace.., But i'm almost certain that NA and NC know this more better than us, Also they know how well Fonte and Hooiveld are training better than us. Even if they bring a new center back in before the man city game which i'm sure they will, There isn't a guarantee he will start.
