Do you think we could make some stuff up about QPR and get their board all excited? It'd probably be quite easy because they're the kind of team who could realistically be linked to just about anyone.

Could try it... first one to have one of their rumours posted on their board wins. Got to make sure it's not a name they've already been linked to though.

I've gone for a double signing of Pablo Aimar and Javier Saviola from Benfica. Players past their prime with silly high wages sounds about right for them.

Southampton are now leading the race to sign Burnley right-back Kieran Trippier from Burnley, after being the first to submit a formal bid - a bid which stands at £4,500,000, plus future payments depending on international appearances.

<laugh>

If any of you are still on there, bang on about Dan Harding going back to Leeds.

Haaha, didn't think that one went through, so submitted another one at midnight... Whoops.

Well Brek Shea is up. Why hasn't my rumour been accepted? :( I thought it sounded realistic enough.

Well this is hardly a story.

The Sun clearly had about an inch of space to fill in tomorrows paper <doh>

This really is getting based on FM 12 now!

Well yes, it is The Sun, BUT they got the Steven Davis story right...

A case of throw enough mud and some sticks, or maybe they actually know something...?

Lets see how far this story goes...

Linked in The Sun 9th July...

Saints boss Nigel Adkins is eyeing the 19-year-old as his fourth summer signing as he prepares for life in the Premier League.

Zaha was Championship Young Player of the Year last term.

A poster on a Palace forum yesterday morning, long before The Sun article was published...

Southampton have been talking to his agent in the last two days.

Don't know if they've talked to club or not but expect there to be rumours of a Saints bid/medical etc in next few days.

I'd expect us to finalise the buttner deal this week, maybe even tomorrow.

You can tell from my opinions on Steve De Ridder how much I dislike the quick and nimble but no product whatsoever style players, Zaha personifies this.

I did see the cup game v Cardiff when he turned up his own arse a few times, but I would have to see bait more than that to judge.

His goal and assist record speaks for itself... 7 goals, 4 assists in 81 games isn't exactly incredible. If it weren't for a run of form in the last few games, it'd be 4 goals 4 assists.
