It seems that Southampton FC have inquired about Tomas sivok(sp) ? Is he a good player.. I didn't pay much interest in the Euros apart from when England played.
Could be free, he may be allowed to just walk from Rangers as all contracts would revert to the SPL when Rangers become newco.
Ah right, I think the Premier League would offer him more attraction. Let's hope if this is a genuine inquiry that he chooses to at least give Southampton a look in.
Not sure what role he'd play for us to be honest. He seemed to be playing at centre-back for Czech, which is a position we need to strengthen, but his best position is holding midfield, which is a position we really don't need to strengthen.
Not sure where you got that impression, he's been playing at centre-back for Besiktas as well.
Well that's just not true. He's primarily a midfielder for Besiktas, just as he was for Udinese and Sparta Prague.
In fairness, this last season he played most games at centre back, just checked through Soccerway
So what were you basing your assertion that "He's primarily a midfielder for Besiktas" on exactly?
He's been there for four years. They signed him as a midfielder and that's where he played. It seems that has changed in recent times.
