Which roughly translates to:


Michu: "If you get offered a good deal, it will be studied"



And from a quick search of some Spanish sites - they seem to think Granada have an offer on the table for Michu, and Betis and Valencia are interested.

His team just scraped survival in La Liga, so although his record is good, he doesn't have big club pedigree. Accoring to reports, he's not your classic very classy Spanish midfielder. He's more of a runner and a battler and someone who would suit a side like ours trying to avoid the drop and push on into mid-table. His team also need the money, so I don't think it would be out of our range.
 
Michu was one of the stand out performers from the "lesser" sides in La Liga last season (ie not Madrid or Barca). Really can't see him joining us, will probably go to another more established Spanish team.
 
I must admit that I have seen it on football rumours and various other poor footballing sites, maybe it's just everyone copying everyone else but it did keep popping up. You're right there are a fee clubs after him, bigger than us so it's as much unlikely than it is likely.

You're right,he's more of a collect the ball and run fella pretty powerful and good at finishing both on the ground and with his head. I'll post a vid If I find one.

Does Pre season start on the 28th? just wondering because didnt Nigel say he expected a signing or two before then... Seems a bit quite for that to happen haha
 
I here he has a transfer release fee of around £4.9m I think, it might be a little lower. But he would certainly suit are style, he was linked with Man Utd/Liverpool, but United have signed Kagawa now and Liverpool have changed there manager and are looking at Sigurdsson, so it opens the door a little. BUT, as mentioned a hell of a lot of teams are after this guy so we shall see what happens.
