I was on the BBC Southampton page then there was a 'related' bit near the bottom with links like this one.
It is beyond a joke, what gets me more annoyed is the 'twitter agents or itk accounts' the thing is they manage to attract so many people when all they do chat is rubbish. If people are going to follow agents go on SkySports Pete O'Rourke account he constantly puts up legitimate agents where he gets his information from.
Anyone who takes rumours seriously needs to get out more anyway. They're good fun but if we started believing everything we read on sites like that then we'd all go crazy.
Considering Birmingham need the cash, I really doubt an extra million or so onto Butland's price tag will worry us.
i hate people on twitter that do that like i was on there and somone was like "i hope the "exciting" saints signing is adam johnson" - next minute some "southitkagent" thing goes "saints are looking to land adam johnson from man city" then everyone retweets!!! its just....well...DUMB!
Why write an article today after he got called up agessss ago?
Birmingham have sold Jordon Mutch today for £3 mil apparently, and are looking to sell Foster to WBA for £5 mil, so they may not need the cash from a Butland deal.
They have a massive debt, still think they haven't published their accounts for two years.

Steven Davis is by far the best option. £1.6m at 27 years old and he's played in the Premier League, played really well for Northern Ireland against England when they beat us and he set up the goal. He was also the best player on the pitch in a recent "Old Firm" derby, and though Scot Prem isn't the best he's reckoned to be the best midfielder in the league and has been Rangers captain. He's the missing link for me as he's the only outfield player who's got significant experience at the top level. Nearly all our current squad haven't played in the Prem so his experience particularly in such a key position would be invaluable and he and Morgan would be great together with Cork an able back up.
Don't listen to Twitter accounts that claim they are agents/ITK. I tweeted something about Saints announcing the signing of David Seaman and Pascal Cygan in the next 7 hours and had 3 accounts asking me about how I know and who they play for. All of these had 'agent' or 'ITK' in their name.

Completely agree.
Some people really are 'desperate' to clung in to any sort of news...
