I'm not sure if Seedorf would be good enough for the Premier League at his age,36,isn't he?It would be great if he is good enough, but I doubt it.
In Serie A teams play such a boring and slow style of play that he can cope with it,I doubt that he can cope with the demands of the Premier League. He is a sublime player,it has to be said, just a shame that he isn't a few years younger...

if he were a few years younger we would have no chance of getting him

Very tall, 6'7 iirc, pretty solid keeper but prone to mistakes from low shots close to his body because of his size, and from the little I've seen of him he doesn't look all that comfortable with crosses. £2 mil would be a decent price for him, but think it would be worth spending a bit more and getting either a player with more potential (Butland) or somebody else

Are you sure you didnt just read these comments from a Celtic fan who said exactly the same...

Seedorf goes against everything I thought we stood for. My trust in NC would be severely tested.

really? an incredibly experienced and quality player who publicly stated that his decision on who to join will not be financially motivated, but on how exciting the project is. I would be ecstatic if we signed him.

He's a great pro, a legend in-fact, & the way he talks, he seems like a really nice guy. But, I'm with Fran, I don't think that he's what we should be looking for, unless he wants a job promoting the club or assisting growth in the market place. (I expect he'd have bigger fish to fry)

Ryan Dickson's latest Twitter comments:

@Ryandickson23: Apologise to saints fans for stupid comment footballs a crazy game one minute your on top of the world the next your climbing the walls!

@Ryandickson23: Was insensitive and selfish comment.

So people are honestly saying they would be disappointed if we signed seedorf?

"Sam,

Trust me , if this is true Celtic will be signing a far superior goalkeeper in Robinson. Big Fraser is like a bag of spuds going down for low balls and for such a big man he is rather poor when dealing with cross balls."

Must just be a coincidence...

;) Didn't click on that link before, great minds etc etc

I watched quite alot of him (in highlights mainly) when he was at Norwich when we were in League 1, he has probably improved since then though, only seen him play for Celtic a handful of times, mainly in the Europa League.

I wouldnt be disappointed with any signing NA and NC feel would better the team, I would just be a little surprised, that is all...

I don;t expect him to join, its just the dismissive attitude towards a player like him.

Oh, I agree - for me he would play the ball around and provide us with much needed experience - until end of last season he was still getting in the Milan squad.

If we did get him, we wouldnt be signing him for the next 5 years - but the lessons he could teach some of our boys would be invaluable.

Dont get me weong - I think it would be a good move, just unrealistic!
