I would like Richardson to play next season, but I have concerns over his pace and injuries.
 
Clyne is estimated to cost £2m because even though he's out of contract Palace will get something for developing him because of his age.
 
I think the main priority has to be centre back. We've only got three fit centre backs one is very young and inexperienced (I rate him just think he needs a couple of seasons in the champ before hes ready). So that leaves NO centre backs as back up (assuming Seaborne isnt fit even if he is we cant expect alot from him this season given his terrible injurie). I remember Lawerson saying that one of the goals we conceded against blackpool was a goal that just isnt scored in the prem. I think this shows that even last season we had some problems with the posistion although in general they did well but I think really it shows we need two more centre backs one ready to come in and be the main man and another to push on Jos and Jose.
 
Am I the only one who doesn't want clyne? He was shocking against us, it was the first time I heard any member of the team openly discussing tactics on air. I think it was Rickie who said that the team deliberately aimed crosses at him for Rickie to attack, not got anywhere near enough Ariel ability if you ask me.

I think we can do better I was using him just as a example, Trippier would be better.
 
anyone actually seen Butland play, or are we just following the media hype here? I've never seen him play, not even one minute so I find it hard to get excited about someone I can't judge for his footballing ability.
 
finding a right back is easier than a right midfielder, many people have concerns about Richardson with pace. Thinking out of the box, how about the idea of moving him up to midfield with a right back behind him. His delivery is perfect and at the mo we do not need a speedy winger as sharp and lambert can not keep up
 
Lads....there seems to be a lot of you picking on Adambanana20.........he may have outlandish views but he is entitled to them and to air them on the forum........ By all means disagree and restate your arguments. Lets not go down the road of accusations and counter accusations. Adam had a ban....he has served his ban. That should be the end of it. Lets not gang up and try to goad him into another one because he will not be the only one if that happens. Come on you can all do better than that........

This is one of the rare occasions you can respect somebody's ability before they've played. The fact 50ish scouts were at one of his games for Cheltenham shows how much of a good prospect he is. The amount of positive reviews he gets from teammates and scouts shows this lad has ability.

I certainly interpreted "racism and discrimination - you got banned!" that way, I'm sure I wasn't the only one.

Anyway, back on topic, you dont get called up to the England squad at Butland's age without having something about you.
 
Nixon has said there have been no other bids for Rodriguez so it's entirely down to us to deal with the man himself.
