As some one else pointed out, Lambert, Lee and Sharp cost 2.8 million between them, so overpaying on another won't break the bank.

Im excited, for those that don't know my opinion on Jay rod is:
He is a target man much akin to Lambert however lambert has a better shot, better first touch and marginally better heading
While Jay rod is YOUNGER with potential and with far more pace and quality heading to boot, shot isn't bad either.
I'd say that jay rod is lamberts successor mainly but they could play together however I reckon adkins will stick lambert up and rotate his partners.
For the gamers he's a 72 on fifa 12 and has decent pace on that too, and on football manager he was quality for me in the prem. 15-20 goals a season for a good few seasons!

If Rodgers leaves Swansea, they'll have to get a new manager in quickly to sort out the team for next year.
Anyone who thinks Rodriguez would be a bad signing is either an idiot or hasn't seen him play. The majority of Burnley fans I've seen think it's anywhere between the right price and a good deal for us.
It's the right price now, but hopefully will be seen as a bargain in the future. Much like the price Arsenal paid for Oxo.
Some people doubting why he'd join us - Premier League football, very healthy wage, the chance to receive service from players like Morgan, Lambert and Lallana... I know I'd take it.
Southampton are financially secure, forward looking and have achieved a double promotion. One look at Cortese's video should do it.
