Hi guys. My dad told me today that an inside source 'thinks Adkins is out of his depth for the PL' and already 'in negotiations with Harry Redknapp to join 6-8 games into the Campaign' if we start poorly.

Told him that I've never heard so much rubbish in my life. That Adkins had achieved the rare feat of a double promotion and shouldn't be sacked no matter what this season. And on top of that we would never go near Redknapp ever again let alone even think about going behind Nigel's back to negotiate with any manager at all no matter what the manager's credentials . I added he was an idiot if he believes this and he said 'it's a fact that's come out the club from a very respectable source'. I'm telling him it's another complete nonsense rumour... he thinks I am being rude and 'out of my depth'

Find it very hard to believe, but then who knows what Cortese is thinking?
 
After what happened with Redknapp before and how well Adkins has turned things around surely would be the most shocking and stupid managerial change in PL history! On top of this Adkins has made some very good signing already and hopefully there will be more to come. It just annoys me he believes any rumour even if it's complete and utter rubbish

That someone should actually have so little faith in Nigel to think that such a stupid piece of nonsence is true beggars belief.
 
The only reason that Cortese would reinstate Redknapp is if the last three years have been a very elaborate and expensive prank. You'd have to give him kudos for that I suppose.

Strewth Another wind up.......Harry Redcrap coming in after eight games....If that happened I would quite supporting Saints......More to the point have I missed something while away.....Saha ........surely we are not interested in him again are we...or is this another wind up.............
 
I am amazed how some people get hooked by a small bit of bait and not even a good line.
But do enjoy it when some people string them along, just wish i had a little more time to join in.

There are people at the club who like wind-ups at the fans' expense. This one seems more sadistic than usual. Complete nonsense.
