Classic fan ideology - everyone else is doing things faster than us... BULLSHIT.

We hear about supposed signings for other teams, but we then assume they are done and dusted. I bet some of them failed to happen but of course we didn't notice as we are not that interested.

We could do with some width on both sides unless we plan on playing strikers wide. Never know, we wouldn't be the first team to try it. Unless of course Puncheon, De Ridder, Shaw and Chambers start pulling up trees.

I think we're fine on the left, considering Fox and Lee are both more than capable of playing in Lallana's position.

Maybe we'll use the classic Jake Watts formation of 4-2-1-3?

    -----------------Davis--------------
    FR-----------JF--------JH-----------DF
    -------------MS--------SD------------
    ------------------AL-----------------
    -------JR---------RL---------TL------

I think flexibility and fluidity are both key, especially in games we should be winning.

    I still think we'll play 4-4-2.

Cant understand people trying to do fancy formations..

Do you think that's just you struggling to understand tactics? 442 is old, decrepit even.

I think we should play 4-4-2 against most opposition but against the big teams I think we should play 4-4-1-1 with Lallana playing behind the striker.

The best teams don't rigidly stick to a formation. There's no point in religiously sticking to 4-4-2, though I do still think it has its merits. Versatility is important these days.

4-4-2 switching around to 4-2-3-1 throughout the game would work. Lambert could drop into the hole quite comfortably.

Gillingham have accepted a bid of roughly £2m from a Premier League club for 20 year old Argentinian keeper Paulo Gazzaniga who is highly rated.

The club is believed to be Southampton according to Gillingham fans.

I'm fine with variations of 4-4-2, I'm also fine with 4-4-2. What I'm not fine with is shoving players out of position just to fit new formations - for example a few people seem dead set on shoving Rodriguez on the wing.

£2m isn't huge if he is half decent and has potential.

Are we just gonna buy youngsters?

It's works on FM,but will it work in real life?

I like the idea of signing youngsters, but we need 1 or 2 more experienced players.
