I am not sure who is better. But I really do like the look of Ince, he was great against us.

Would fit the mould too. Left winger with a stronger right foot and right winger with a stronger left foot. Balances it up a bit with Lallana and Ince.

Would be very pleased if we could do it. We were linked in an article and revealed as scouting him a while back.

Ince looks quality, naturally plays on the right too rather than Phillips on the left.

That pitch is poor, we had problems with it if I remember, a bit pudding like in places.

Ince is a very plausible option as a loan signing. Although if Blackpool are successful in the play offs then you'd expect them to be 1st choice

Why would Blackpool loan him to us? (I'm guessing you didn't know he is contracted to them now, and not Liverpool?)

Hadn't seen much of Ince before, but having seen five minutes of him he looked very impressive!

I thought Incy looks quality and certainly out shone Phillips tonight
Would welcome him at SMS as our new super flying winger

Agree with this, really impressed with this kid too.

Get Adkins and Lambert on the case of selling it to him ;-)

What price does everyone think is realistic? Can't believe Blackpool have unearthed him over 1 season at a transfer fee of only £65k. I'm reckon he'd be £3.5m-£4.5m currently, but you could add at least another million if they got promoted.

Ince is good. Birmingham closed him down on the wing and he moved inside and caused all sorts of trouble. Wouldn't mind him in the red and white. However, last night's game highlighted how weak our left-side is defensively. Blackpool and Bristol City tore us apart on the right wing. Birmingham coped much better than we did. That said, Blackpool should still have got 2 or 3 more goals.

Ince certainly looks to have decent pace and ability to go past people but for me he is far to greedy. He still has a lot to learn in terms of when to and when not to release the ball. I personally don't think he would fit in with the fluid style of football we play here. He is a very raw work in progress and I have no doubt we have similar if not better players already in our academy. We need players that are going to come in and instantly improve the team, I don't think he would.

    A big NO from me.

Appaently we're interested in bringing Kieran Trippier and Jay Rodriguez from Burnley for cash + one of our players, believed to be Chaplow.

Jay Rod would be a great buy. Long term replacement for big Rick.

Trippier is a very good, young RB too. Doesn't look like we're planning to desert attacking fullbacks.

If this happens Burnley will be sick of us. First Cork (who wasn't their player, but they were after him too after his loan stint), then Fox and now potentially these two. I know nothing about Trippier, but if he is a young RB do we really need him? Richardson 1st choice, Butterfield back up with Stephens coming through.

On what basis? He played well, worked hard, no histrionics like his Dad. Whether he is ultimately good enough who knows, but I think your assessment is a bit harsh.
