Akinbiyi posed with Jay Rod and the saints scarf. Im sure if Mr. Akinbiyi wishes to continue as a football agent the Don would have insisted his young goalkeeping talent makes the correct decision on his future.

Yep, Ade, Jay and his dad Enrique were in that shot. Lets hope so, Cortese will probably have contact for Akinbiyi now!

Interestingly, the Mirror says Stephen Ireland has been listed by Paul Lambert as for sale at a price of £4m.

Anyone? Doesn't really fit our profile and not sure where he fits in but I thought it was worth mentioning just to give us another name to discuss.

If I'm being honest I'd like to see a midfield of: (NEW WINGER) - Cork - Schneiderlin - Lallana /// in the Premier League next season.

I'd think Jay would certainly take the #9 shirt.

I rate Lee and Sharp but as said above think Lee is more classy and his intelligence, scanning and movement will see him adapt well to the Premier League.

I dunno, there are a lot of right backs in the world but most people seem to be fixated on two.

Remember seeing our name somewhere next to Dirk Marcellis. Plays CB pre-dominantly, also covers RB. 24 years old, at AZ Alkmaar.

Has also represented Holland's Senior Team twice. He has only been at AZ for one season though.

Danny Simpson anyone?, free transfer having left Newcastle. Only problem I could see is his wages.

FC Twente's Dwight Tiendalli is good also. Holland is a good place to look for players as you can get them pretty cheap and they all know English. There are some great players over there.

I find it hard to believe that Nixon thinks the ball is rolling in the Butland deal considering he is with England at the moment...

I don't.... Akinbiyi is Butlands agent too. If there is interest I would think its unlikely cortese never worked on him while he was down. Rodriguez has to be one of Akinbiyi's biggest clients so if he is happy for Jay to come here I would think he would feel the same about Butland! Not saying it's a done deal but deffo has some legs I think!
