A fellow supporter told me on Tuesday evening that he had heard Mark Ashton, presumably on radio, advise that City will have a £20 million Transfer Kitty this summer.

Firstly, I have not seen this mentioned anywhere else.
Secondly, surely it is a bit dumb to make this information public as it could force prices up?
