Really impossible to judge this either way. Have we turned a swift profit in 6 months, or wasted money? Equally it could be nothing to do with footballing ability, a 17 year old from Iceland might well not settle in Norfolk! It's going to be a feature of our wider youth recruitment policy though, there will be plenty of turnover on low cost, low risk signings.
Goldson on loan from Brighton. A defender, no mention if he is LB, RB or CB. Only played a few times for Brighton last season but played regularly the season before. Never heard of him, but probably a last ditch effort to plug more holes in our leaking defence. How many on loan now?

JUST possible that DF has realised he's been playing for us for the last 6 seasons when we've mostly conceded 'soft' goals.
Newcastle site says £3.5m for Hanley. He could be our last chance for this season. Pleased with that though. Goldson can play CB or RB if he comes.
