I always liked him. Thought he was a very decent player. I don't think he ever was a star player for us. We had other players who impressed more. I was sad when we lost him. Technically very good, could defend and attack. Had a good physique. I'd say he was probably bottom half to mid-table standard Premiership player.

Where did he play for you , attacking midfielder ? I'm happy with him , especially at 4.5 million we payed QPR for him .

Yes, it was in that region. When he joined us and he Tettey and Howson were a superb triumvirate and linked up brilliantly until I think it was Fer who got injured.
