That's not great news at all - really bad luck for both of them and the club.

It will deter potential suitors for both hopefully - that's the only positive spin I can put on this.

That injury situation is better than I expected to be honest. Seeing Pritchard leave on a stretcher made me think he'd be lost until Christmas. Particularly if we sign a new CB, Klose's absence can be covered temporarily.

When I heard knee and off on a stretcher, I immediately assumed cruciate ligament and not back for 7-9 months.

So agreed that in the circumstances it sounds better!

I think, assuming we are relatively injury lucky until October or so, this might be manageable because these two coming into the squad will give us a timely boost during our nemesis period (October-December for as many seasons as I can remember now...)
