Wiki doesn't include his latest goal. The other two goals were against Everton and Southampton in cup games, thus the "8 goals in 23 starts and 11 sub appearances". Jacob's cup goal was against Coventry. Soccerway is more reliable than Wiki.
I did also mention the goals to game ratio as "league games" so my facts were correct thanks.
You have Dave haunting you and liking your posts now I see. <laugh>

This is getting a bit 'tit for tat', DD, which isn't fair to others on here. Let's leave it at that.
The net result is he cost circa £8m, he's screwing the club for circa 50k a week (AN's fault, but that's academic looking forward) and for a player who has cost a mid-table (ish) second division side that much, it's nowhere near good enough. Just because he's upped his work rate and overall performances since AI took charge, I'm still not convinced. What about all the 80% of other games where he couldn't be ar5ed. Factor those in too, in the interests of fair play, RER <ok>

You chose to quote my honest assessment of Naismith condescendingly by saying "It's an opinion but not much more than that".
I then backed up my "opinion" by listing his league appearances to goals ratio of 5 in 32 .
You then smugly accused me of making up the figures then corrected me with cup goals too .
Instead of admitting that you cocked up you site Wikipedia as incorrect.
You Rick are so stubborn that you are incapable of criticising this failed season and refuse to point fingers at the players that didn't show up.

Your opinions are just that too "opinions" but the Fact is we have an expensive squad that failed to get in the top 6 and many fans including me are angry and feel let down.

Even the NCFC canaries official website has Naismith on 5 League goals 2 cup goals so Soccerway is probably wrong , you're welcome to your opinions Rick but they aren't backed up by facts .
No need to apologise .<ok>

It is not Alex Neil's fault that we overpaid for and are over paying Naismith, it is once again the fault of our pathetic and inept Board who couldn't organise the proverbial p1ss up in a brewery for sanctioning it.

Delia OUT !!

How much did Neil get as a "Sack bonus" when we finally pulled the trigger ?
We even made a pigs ear of that because we did it months too late and didn't even bother replacing him .
I'm sure it would have been cheaper to just let him finish the season then pull the trigger.

Disagree. AN failed in one window and made Naismith his major priority for the next one.
If a board trusts the judgement of their manager / coach, of course they're going to back him financially if possible.

I turned down a ticket for tomorrow's game because I couldn't stomach another lap of honour for that shower of ****.

What the hell are you on Cromer? It was obvious to all and sundry who wasn't on class A drugs that to pay £8M for a 30 year old Everton substitute was complete madness <doh>

It's my last game on my ST, but I can assure you I'll be on my way to the pub when they're on their lap of honour - though goodness knows what honour there is, after such a pretty dismal season!! <doh>
Oh and I won't be there when the PotS is announced either.

With the money involved if we survived in the PL it was a calculated risk that didn't work out. He was 29 at the time KIO. Not many on here thought it was madness at the time, but things look different in retrospect. For me it's a question as to whether our chances of promotion next season are better with him or without him. For me, it's the former.

Wasn't that your 2016-17 mantra ?
He didn't do enough this season last season and at 30 is on the decline.
The only reason he's not going back to Rangers is we pay him £50k a week and he would be mad not to see out his contract here .
