Then again he may decide to continue in his mission to awaken Bristols only sleeping giant of a football club..

Mr Mcgoo is thinking of doing one though...

Some competition we've heard of and not the usual rubbish destinations of previous regimes such as (better not mention them in case they get upset). They were mostly non-league and yet our record was very poor against all of them.

Good trip - as DM says the Scottish sides are a bit further forward in fitness than the English teams in pre season.
Remember this is all about getting the boys in tip-top shape for the first Championship game - something that Coppell and Millen failed to do

Very disappointing.

I wanted us to play Yate, Clevedon, Tiverton Town and other minnows that we could field an understrength team against.

What is Mr McInness playing at acting like he's a real manager in the second tier of English football ?!

What a good idea to go to Scotland instead of the Algarve. No sun, so no naked birds to distract the players while they are training (is that what they went there for with GJ & KM?) Oh of course for the cheap booze except that it's not cheap in Portugal anymore.

These three games will be tough and I don't expect that DMc & Doc will allow anyone to consider it a jolly. The squad will be working hard and will really need to turn up against all three of these sides, especially St Johnstone.

This really is a new regime at City and about time too.

the reason they are so fit is that from about mid May to October midges are so prevailent they keep fit dodging them..the further north the more dense they get. lets hope they take plenty of deet..........
