Lets face it Gylfi and Ayew wont be here at the start of the season. You cant make any player stay these days and expect him to give 100% ....Siggy has been a journeyman all his career and wont turn down a move to a bigger club and Jenkins has the decisions and not the owners. £25m is more than a fair price but we could try it on for more as long as it dont ruin Gylfi's chance of a move to a bigger club, but saying that £25m is a generous offer. Ayew is a wanted man and i expect some serious bids to come in very soon and the same as Gylfy Jenkins will sell if the player says he wants the move...
Ummmm no its just stating that the inevitable is happening. But hope that the article is bullshit. Its starting meaning that the expected Siggy rumours are starting On a more positive note, the board have just stated that new Siggy contact is being worked on and they don't plan on selling. http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/swansea-citys-new-owners-pledge-11649306
And that means that its in siggy's hands and will choose the best contract.....Jenkiins wont improve his contract by much and Everton are more certain of staying up than ever we are...
Contrary to what Dai is spouting, Siggy will go nowhere, unless the bid is over £30 Million, you heard it here first.........
We'll just have to wait and see but at least the club is taking action plus there's 2 years left on his current contract so we'll have the final say at least for another season. I think with the market being the way it is and players like Allan going for £13M on his final year it makes sense to risk keeping him for another season.
http://www.swansea.vitalfootball.co.uk/sitepage.asp?a=453304 Gomis to Marseille getting closer. We can only hope! Also reports that Swansea City have had a bid rejected for Leicester City's want-away striker Leonardo Ulloa. Read more: http://www.swansea.vitalfootball.co.uk/sitepage.asp?a=453302#ixzz4FBDXUcsk
Apparently 7 million turned down. Turning down 7 million for a 30 year old want away 3rd choice striker is madness if true.
http://www.footballfancast.com/football-news/swansea-have-13m-offer-accepted-for-liverpool-star. Surely this means one of our midfielders are going?
Ki to Stoke maybe? Edit: Is that a typo because if you click on the Guardian link, it's page says Stoke and not us?
I really hope Jenkins does a deal good enough to keep Gylfi but i dont trust either of them when it comes to money.....Will Jenkins offer enough and Gylfi will go to ever offers the most....he wont care like the majority of players which club he plays for....
I think Gylfi cares which is why he came back to us Dai. Don't forget, the deal was done more or less until Brendan opens his big mouth and screwed us over, with Gylfi eventually going to Spurs not Liverpool. He could easily have been another Scott Sinclair and ran his contract down at Spurs. The trouble with Gylfi is, he's quality and deserves to be at a top 6 club.
http://www.skysports.com/football/n...est-in-signing-liverpool-midfielder-joe-allen What is there to discuss and think about? Make the frigging bid you morons
We could have been a top 6 club if Jenkins would get his head out of his arse and stop thinking you can go cheap for every player....i dont trust the guy.......Joe allen should have been here now if he had paid the £10m and we would not be fighting stoke for him at £13m now. ..Joe the same as Gylfi will go to whoever offers the better contract so Jenkins had better get things right for a change...
Again I point you to the fact that nothing could have been done without the board agreeing to this. And as the yanks are here now that had to be sorted first. Huw knows what he is doing, and is considered one of the best chairmen in the league for a very good reason! You are just using cheap shots and the benefit of hindsight to get your opinion across.
