I know that deals will be done, hopefully will be the right deals and not least minute knee jerk ones.

Tello will be class if it comes off.

Tello would be a great signing, I just cant believe that we haven't a list of what we want and are working to get those done, I am sure all wont come off but enough to strengthen our spine and the most important one a new striker. That will give us a realistic chance of maintaining our status next season rather than just hoping.

He had plenty more than 15 minutes in some games, but when you are a striker not scoring then rightly your playing time will be limited, he started a few games and got nothing, people slag off Gomis but at least he scores goals.

And he wasn't even with us for half the season, going to Lille in January, you know what I didn't even notice, that's how much of an impact he made with me.

Eder averaged a goal every 2nd game at Brage in the Portugal league before he came to us and a goal every 2nd game when we sent him on loan with Lille and also an assist every 3rd game with Lille .
Eder played 269 minutes with us , equal to 3 full games ......and he had a great game against Liverpool .A lot of people put a lot of weight iinto Eder's ability over 269 minutes .
He put his body on the line against France yesterday , they kicked the sh:t out of him in his 45 minutes of super play where he was the only player doing anything in the final third .
    He'll be a sore puppy today .

Why cant fans grasp the fact that a good player for one club does not mean he will be good at your club......Take Gomis for example......We have not seen very much from him only glimpses of his skill and yet he was brilliant at his last club and scoring for fun....He is just not the right player for us and the way we play but he will be for somebody.

Totally agree with that, Leon went off to Sheffield UTD and their long ball certainly didn't suit he comes back and the rest is history.

Yet you want us to bring two players in that costs about £20m each, don't you see that they might not fit in? They might be playing great for their current clubs but will be a disaster for us.

In Gomis's last 6 games of the 2014-2015 and his first 4 games of 2015-2016 with us , 10 games in a row ....Gomis scored 9 goals ....9 goals in 10 straight games .... How do you explain that Glimpse ?

Because there is more chance of him being good and at £20m is below the going rate for a premiership striker.....think small and we will always be small There is more chance of us being relegated than not this season and i want to see us turn it around the other way or we will struggle.....

But they have already fitted in to the way we play, When we first signed Bony it was a bit of a gamble, but we know what he can do for us, so the risk imo is slightly less, every signing is a risk and there are good and bad signings at every club, but when you know someone has fitted in at your club it lessens that risk. Every transfer at every club is a risk and it is about lessening that risk and signing players you know have fit the club before.

Not sure you meant Bony but just mentioned that.

All strikers will score at some point roof, It the overall performance with Gomis that has let him down and shown he is not the right player for the club. He has been shocking for most of his time here.....

Gomis's problems started like everyone else's problems , after the quick start of last season .
Everyone underachieved after the first 4 games .....everyone . I think Gomis 's problems were a managerial problem .
If we have to pay most of Gomis's wages , We would be foolish to let him go score elsewhere .
I hope Guidolin keeps him because up till the end of August , he proved he could score at least the same rate as Bony .Our best season saw us win 8 games in 20 with Bony , and win 8 games in 18 without him .

But his statistics don't add up, he hasn't scored a goal in 2016, and has scored only 6 times at Man City last season, and just twice the season before. I realise most of his appearances has been off the bench, but he's not the same player, and 8 goals in 18 months is not good! If he is to come here based on that then he's not worth what we paid for him originally. About £8m-£10m would be a fair price with City paying some of his wages.

Gomis has got to go roof and i think we will find that Guildo wont last long either. He is a bit of a yes man to huw with little or no decision making of his own. I like a manager who can make decisions whether they work or not and be able to change things around when they do go wrong. I want a manager with his own vision and be able to choose what players he wants and who he feels the players he wants to send out on loan or not needed at all.... We wont have another good season until we get our priorities on who does what job in the proper manner..

I can see your point, but how often does he play, most on here agree that regular game time is important, so when you get the odd game here and there is very difficult to show your best. here he would be first on the team sheet every week, I am sure there would be a build up of understanding between both him and the wingers and also probably more importantly Siggy. Its regular game time that would be the thing that makes him a better player. it is only my opinion and I just think he would fit us and score goals, but paying that money is clearly a risk as it is with every player signed.
