Sorry but i started off small (lower League) and i grew bigger and bigger and why was that do you think ? I Speculated to accumulate and im in a position now where i am comfortably well off and always looking for property i can buy.......If you stay still you will get nowhere......we have reached our limit 2 seasons ago and now is the time to speculate a bit more or we will struggle to keep up with our rivals and before to long you are on a downward spiral.....
We are talking more than your little portfolio of houses here, we are talking a multi million business, and they have speculated quite a lot over the years. But what they haven't done is do complete gambles that could be disastrous to the club if it fails! I would rather be in a lower league than taking punts like what teams like Leeds, Forest, Portsmouth and so many others, they risked everything on success, and it failed. If we are to risk things it should be calculated gambles that don't bankrupt us should it fail!
The club have to make a prediction on where the finish in the league and what money that brings in, this then set the budget for the whole club for the coming season. I bet the playing budget in transfer fees and probably wages won't be much more then 25m, so based on that we won't spend much more than around 20m on players.

From the moment Eder came on , he was the spark plug . Won almost everything in the air , I stopped counting after 8 the amount of free kicks he won from people fouling him . Almost scored another from a corner kick ... But ... He did score the big one on a masterful shedding of a player and a stunning strike . Swan I am just hoping there is a bit going on nice and quietly out of the ear shot of the press and we won't announce till deals are done. I know some don't believe we will do much, but I am 100% convinced there will be a striker coming in. With every other team in the league strengthening we have to and will I am sure.
