We were linked with James Chester at the beginning of the window. Could be the replacement the club have lined up.
Got no probs signing Chester , had a very good Euro . Price would be good , I think he would give a 100% to impress at Swansea . I probably nearly alone but I'd bring him in as a 4th CB . Seems comfortable in a 3 man defence if one was tried .
I'm torn, if Ash were still here I'd say sign him. But I don't see him as the leader figure we may need. Still hoping that one of Fernandez, Amat or Hoorn will make the crucial step up.
You've got no chance of chambers at present, as Arsenal have an injury crisis at CB. He's likely to start on Sunday!
I wouldn't expect any bad reaction to Ash when plays at the Liberty - because he is a 'Jack Bastard' and a big thanks for all his efforts with us over all those games Mind you I hope Ash marks Llorente at set pieces.
I'd be disgusted if anyone boos Ash when he returns to the liberty. He may get some stick if he decides to have his annual big **** up at the liberty. I hope he's responsible for marking Llorente during corners, is all I have to say.

Well if we use the money to bring in a very good 26-27 year old CB then it will be a better deal for us.
We were linked with him in the past during the laudrup era if I can remember. A good player and will definitely give us a welcome headache when we decide who's going to be our number one striker.
I dunno Valley he was in blistering form last season. Id say he's worth a punt as we have a player already with similar attributes as bony (Llorente) Baston will be our future and Islam Slimani will be our powerhouse with pace that runs at defender's. Unless, guidolin wants to play a 352 but that system doesn't really suit Siggy so I think that it's just a rumour that comes to nothing Worst case is that the Baston deal has hit a snag and we're moving to other targets.
