Give Bony a call and see if he answers Valley . I would love Bony to walk through our door , I get the feeling he won't love to come through our door Now you can blame it on whoever you want , except for Bony , but it won't change the outcome is he resists coming ..
We need to spend every penny of that £20 million to get a top, top class striker in now. We were lacking in goals last season, we now need to replace those 12 goals on top of a striker capable of netting 15 league goals. However, we'll plump for Oliviera who will be lucky to get us 2 goals
I wonder how much of that money goes to Ayew , I have to assume he had a deal like Gomis with a guarenteed amount of money ...even if he left after a season . My guess is he will get 8 million . So that means we would receive a one million £ bonus for every goal he scored . " The Swansea ( financial l ) Way " is on the rebound IMO
Shake your head and tell me if you hear anything . We were blessed to have him even consider us in thefirstplace . We get 12 million for free and you can complain ....come on lefty , show some basic appreciation for what's probably about to happen.
if we get 12m for our top goalscorer it is pathetic, Ross McCormack is moving from Fulham to another championship side villa for 12m. this for an average player, just don't se it as a god deal if true, but we are guessing at that.
But we're getting 20 million for a player who chose us to come too on the free . If he gets 8 million , which he frankly deserves in the football world we live in when a good player goes on the free , we get 12 million to pocket . The 20 million West Ham pays isn't going to be all ours .....be reasonable . The biggest reason I think this kindoffdeal exists is his close relationship with Gomis .
Why West ham who was a yo yo club for years ....i dont see west ham as a big club at all even though they have the biggest stadium where you need binoculars to watch the game. He should have stayed like he wanted and make an even bigger name for himself and push his value up to £30m £40m+ where the really big clubs would be fighting over him....strange choice imo...
I thought Fulham wouldn't sell him unless his fifteen million pound sell on clause is triggered - which is even worse!
http://mobile.ghanasoccernet.com/br...w-to-undergo-west-ham-medical-ahead-of-switch More rumours surrounding Ayew, I think that we'll see another player in before he goes. My guess will be; Chadli Llorente Olivera My fear is that none of these are going to be as influential as Ayew especially Olivera. I'd be content of its Llorente or Chadli because I think they might do a job for us.
Well if Ayew does go, it'll please a few on here. One less muslim in Wales, etc. It will be decent profit for us though, just hooe we have ime to also land some defensive options, regardless of wether Ash does actually go or not.
I won't be over hurt grabbing some very good profit off of a fantastic square player playing on our round hole team . Keep in mind we may be granting his wishes on a verbal agreement ....we work that way sometimes . Siggy staying is twice as important as Ayew leaving IMO .....Williams actually staying would be another direction turner . Got a good feeling on Llorente if we nab him ,got a good record in European football too . Got quite a history with that Bielsa manager guy , and not good ! Anyways Ayew has been very , very good to us and really like the way he conducts himself on the pitch . Stay or go , we can't lose . Great guy it seems !!
But he is not enough (nor good enough to be our lead striker) and will not get the goals that we potentially lose with Ayew. He's a good back up, nothing more. As it stands, we need replacements for Gomis, Eder, Palo and Ayew - think it's safe to say he's leaving now. 4 strikers/attackers gone. We need 2-3 strikers with 2 of them being of very good quality.
Llorente will get more goals than Ayew IMO , if he stays healthy and he is # 1 striker . Bigger still is we don't have to make room on the wing for Ayew , divvy up the 20 million and he skips to where he wants and we're counting cash . Ayew did ok on the wing , but nobody else on the team was scoring . When Ayew came off the wing , to play striker , 5 or 6 different players scored who never scored all season up till then . Couple of strikers and we're off . I really feel we have our first super expierenced manager and we may get surprised right out of the gate .
