http://sportwitness.co.uk/fernando-llorente-agrees-terms-join-swansea-city/ not sure if this has been posted but it makes interesting reading
Actually , not worth the wages is my guess . Could be a landmark decision if it is a " Wage " ruling . A lot of information was promised over the affair , and all that was produced was a " Smigen " of a ruling wrapped in a cloak of secrecy , from bottom to top . None of the parties are allowed to say anything until the court comes out with their final statement ........not sure it's coming . Anyways sorry about Williams Mr. Beej ..........." show us the ( more ) Money " .
He was worth the player we swapped with, meaning that no money changed hands, so if we didn't sell him how do you determine the value in cash?
You do realise you are going to sell your two best players aren't you? You're no different to any of the non top 4 clubs like Saints and Swansea. You can't hang on to your best players.
http://sportwitness.co.uk/swansea-west-brom-interested-atletico-madrid-star/ I know what you read in the media is usually 90% bullshit. But for once please be true!
What we know ?? You dont know anything of the sort tobes, Before we contemplate the deal we have to work out if it is worth it and we rejected the deal as not beneficial to us so there was no done deal just paper talk that for some reason want to believe.....Ash was seen house hunting ? How would anyone know what Ash was doing and why would anyone do such a thing before any final decision by us.......It's all wishful thinking by Everton fans talking crap.....
The only thing we KNOW is that the offer was rejected. Everything else was speculation and rumour. It was either Sky sources or paper talk. I have to admit I assumed it was a done deal too once Sky stated their sources were reporting about a fee being agreed. Again this wasn't supported with any quotes from either club. The only quote I do know is true is Ash denying everything to do with the rumours. There again is he actually going to confirm anything to us fans when asked the question? As been previously stated nothing is true until the clubs and player confirm it. As far as I am concerned even Gylfi signing a new contract means Jack **** (excuse the pun) regarding keeping him. Until the window is closed it is all a lottery
Stones has been going for a year and for £50m they can have him, as he was poor in the main last season. Lukaku won't be going imo, but we'll see. Every club barring Barca are in the football food chain, it's how it works, you're just lower down in that chain than us love x
I am personally resigned to Ash leaving. If the Stones deal and others go through Everton will have a fair bit of cash sloshing about plus will need cover at the back. I therefore expect Everton to come back with an increased offer, whatever that may be. It will then be up to Ash. If he wants to go I cant see the çlub getting in his way. If he wants to stay then happy days. If I had a choice of keeping one of Ash or Ayew I would go for Ayew. I think he is going to have a really good season coming. Although at 32 a fit guy Ash will probably soon be showing the signs with more and more small niggling injuries. Ash's key strengths are his leadership and willingness to put his body on the line. He was however prone last season to giving the ball away a number of times. I would gladly keep him and hope he stays but if he wants to go and we make a few quid then I wish him all the best.
Well on one hand you are saying nothing is true until the club confirms it, then you are saying that a contract means jack **** in keeping him. I realise contracts are there to be broken, but signing a new one means at least for this next season he is ours to play
Fans seem to think that when a player reaches 30 years old that they are coming to the end of their career.....not so....in the 70's 80's may be but today with sports science and better facilities and better diet then its very common now for a player to still be playing at 35 years old and a keeper over 40 years old...Ash can play at top level for another 5 years if he keeps fit and healthy.....Not all players can but more and more players are still playing into their 30's.
