That's out of date, he knows he has to move, as he has been told by Sevilla he will get no playing time, he has been advised by all to move to Swansea, the new Sevilla manager has told him the same, Sevilla and Swansea just have to agree terms, no other club is after him. He is only confirming what we all ready know that he could not run the club as it should be run and far to much interference from Jenkins to be able to do the job he wanted to do........I have a lot of time for Gary who stood up to Jenkins and paid the ultimate price.......He was never a yes man like the rest of the shower we have at the club today.......Served the club well and a brilliant Captain who will go on to be a great manager.....I have no doubt about that.....
So you blaming Huw for Monk losing the changing room now? The problem with him was that he had to much of an ego and quickly forgot where he came from. He had very poor people's skills , and to be frank was a mediocre manager at the premier league level. I'm not saying he won't ever be a good manager, but he has a lot to learn and if he's given time he might do well at Leeds. Personally I think he won't last as manager there into 2017, they are a chaotic club.
Just to point out out the thing I was laughing at was With Leeds United closing on a deal to sign Pablo Hernandez from Swansea City (Yorkshire Evening Post), it is clear to see that Garry Monk is a big admirer of the attacking midfielder. He's not a swansea player anymore.
Monk has very poor people skills, he has upset people where ever he has gone, I remember when he first came to Swansea, and he was staying at the Hilton in Llansamlet (It was called something else back then, and now), the staff hated him, his arrogance rubbed everyone up at the hotel.........
