    The London media are linking all our best players, is it an attempt to unsettle our team? we seem to go through this every season, but this year it seems particularly acute, nothing but garbage as I see it now, though there are also fans forums linked to Everton and West Ham that are also at it........<laugh>

    Wouldn't that be a welcome thing for the fans....and the players teetering on the transfer block .
    One great striker signing could make a resounding message to the fence sitting players in the squad .

    Ok HJ can we please buy a striker, preferably of some quality and not someone from L1 or The championship, it would also be nice if we could do it before our last friendly so whoever I may be can actually meet the squad and maybe have a bit of game time with them before the season starts.

    Keep everyone else, add 2 quality strikers and we could have a great season, given the attacking intent Guido has set us up with in these pre season games.
    Hell, if we keep Ayew, I'd rather us go all out and splash the cash on 1 quality striker, rather than 2 decent strikers.

    Seems a bit ass backwards , It's being reported that Ayew has agreed to personal terms , but at the same time we haven't received an offer ...lol.
    I'm not sure Guidolin or the Americans really understood what they were signing on for with Huw .
    Our only way out of this IMO is massive wage increases and one good new striker .

    There are strict rules around that kind of thing, think the last time someone was accused of tapping up one of players was Wigan and Jason Scotland

    I understand that a team can't approach a player , but can a player let his feelings be known with a club (about possible wages ) that he might want to go to ?

    Of course....whether it's illegal or not, the club can't bug a players phone or tail him 24 hours a day.
    It would be naive to think it doesn't go on.
