I think the head had it in for the kid at our school, which really didn't help, because he would take it out on everyone else. He actaully wasn't a bad lad, apart from wanting to kill me onetime, you just left him alone and he was fine, just big enough to look after himself.
Every year group had one. We had a guy called Danny who I managed to steer clear of until he left after GCSE's. He threw a chair straight through a window once - sliced his hand open on a shard of glass and didn't even blink. Another time he poured paint into a teacher's briefcase and kicked it across the classroom. In hindsight, I feel sorry for the guy. Most kids aren't born evil and destructive and there's usually ****e going on at home that you're unaware of and way too young too process on their behalf. I literally never spoke to him in case I said the wrong thing or looked at him in slightly the wrong way. He had zero friends and left school after failing all his exams. Last I heard he was in prison. Sad.
Coincidentally last i heard of George was when he was in court charged with common assault , resisting arrest ,and assaulting 3 Police Officers . We at least did know why he was so angry at life .
It was easier back in my day, because I fooked school off at 15, and was in a full-time job by 16 - kids are staying until some ridiculous age now. I think with me it was just a case of I didn't see a point in some of the lessons, what was it teaching me that I needed to know in the work place, it's not like Kings & Queens came up in discussion at the job interview, unlike in these woke days.
i left at 15 too though it became a race to see if end of year came before my expulsion though i managed to avoid work for another 4 years .
I tried to get straight into work as soon as i left, but I hadn't realised at the time, it was illegal to take a full-time job at that age, or that was my memory, so had to hang about until my 16th. Didn't want to avoid work, because I wanted a motorbike, and the only way to get that was paying for it myself.
just trying to get an interview was difficult enough for me and no way was that happening till i got my full quota of O levels then made the mistake of doing A levels but in reality spent 2 years drinking smoking and trying to get laid before going on the rock n roll . Good days
Fosse stayed behind after school to help mark the other kids homework, until he got expelled for shagging all the fit mums at parents evening.
