Or a car that can do both.

A two seater convertible that changes into a 4x4 would be quite cool...

My old car had a winter remote. You just clicked it 15 minutes before you went out and it melted all the ice off the windows and mirrors, warmed the seats and steering wheel and heated up the inside of the car. I really miss it on these chilly mornings.

My birds uncle has a fan heater on an extension by the door and goes and puts it in his car 10 minutes before going out <laugh>

Our Omega is automatic with a winter button. It drives great in the snow without changing the tyres.

I once drove it to Hull with the outside temp at -8 and the only issue was that the whole car was covered in a sheet of ice. ****ing game was cancelled though.

Back in the day, I used to have two pieces of bamboo sellotaped together, so I could turn the TV over without getting out of bed. <laugh>

A6 Allroad 3.0 tdi Bi Turbo with panoramic sunroof.

    0-60 in 5.3 seconds

Modest off road capability (more than most SUVs are capable of)

Panoramic sunroof to satisfy the sports car open top urge.

    Ticks every box for me.

I have a cracking outdoor coat that keeps me snug as a bug in our worse weather, but I could get a coat, at much extra cost, specified for artic conditions - why would I?

You mean you don't wear mountaineering boots with crampons between October and March?

    You're insane.

Painful. Improves driving in the wet.

    The End.

Do you wear that coat during the height of summer or do you dress appropriately for the conditions?

Do you wear crampons and carry a pair of hiking sticks round for 5 months just in case it snows for the odd day or two?

    This is true.
We haven't had any snow for half a decade now.

Christ you drive some proper **** cars. No wonder you want to deflect attention by talking about tyres.

How is your Corsa? I wouldn't actually be as crass as to comment on somebody else's car. That shows your level though. The tyre discussion is from a safety perspective. If you don't like it, don't ****ing read it prick.

Good for towing and pulling people who drive in winter with summer tyres out of ditches.

It was actually a discussion about a sports car and a 4x4. I have a car that does everything.

Because it can go that quickly, doesn't mean it gets driven that quickly <doh><doh>
