I think both Shelvey and Spearing are better off being played further forward. Spearing will play where he's told but is not a DM imo, he lacks the positional sense.

Lucas being injured has caused us huge problems but how often does a player like that get injured, and how hard is it to get a specialist like that to sit on the bench? We need Lucas fit and if he is injured we need to change the formation completely.

guys milk was sea hoke... he never admitted it cos he was convinced the mods over there just banned guys for anything.

luv, interesting point on spearing... i would say the inexpereinced lucas had to learn the position the hard way and honeslty mikel at chlesea has too as well. spearing can only learn it by doing. as for adam? he just has ZERO positional discipline

as for gerrard wide right... not all players need to be bombers and run al day to paly out there... beckahm was never that and gerrard can put in as good a ball as any. the fact is if he trotts about like he is doing and he is walking if you watch him he's a liability.

I think we could do well from playing up on the south american link in our team. We currently have Lucas, Suarez, Coates, Maxi (who I expect to leave), Aurelio (expect to leave.

Add to that that they mainly speak spanish (Reina, Enrique) and we have some good links.

We have been linked with Gaston Remirez.

Ever Banegar and Edison Cavani are some options.

On another note, I'v heard Mesut Ozil is not happy in Madrid and may look towards England. He could do a similar job to Meireles.
