Yes ...I was reading that earlier.....I was going to check if he had any previous injury history....I don't think so.....that means how unlucky he is and Argyle of course.

Nearly time to go.....Ryan Lowe has not strengthened the attack like he has strengthened the defence.....we need a striker and an attacking mid-fielder just to balance the squad......let hope he has got it covered....I think we will struggle without these additions.

 

You know what, I haven't got a clue how we will get on this season without seeing a ball kicked in anger first. I think Argyle followers must be the most pessimistic bunch of supporters on the planet. I know that because of the EFL and Sky the club will not be getting the £300/£400 that they did get from me last season.....multiply that by 100's/1000's of similar situations to me an exile....then you wonder if the club are missing a trick or two.

Depressing news from Ryan Lowe....who admits he is finding it hard to recruit the players he needs.

We must have on paper one of the weakest attacking forces in Div One.....only three senior strikers....the most promising one has an injury.....and another one of them hasn't scored a league goal for nearly half a season....and the third one has never scored goals for fun.....we also need strengthening in mid-field with attacking options.....and we need speed down the wings to bring those attacking moments that we are desperate for.

 

I see Scott Wootton has finally found himself a club....signed for Morecambe.

 

He has until the end of the month I believe: thereafter it's free agents only.

That is roughly £5952.38 per hour....sleeping...awake...injured....or even sometimes playing football.....and that will be playing in the French League.....which isn't one of the top leagues in Europe.

There is a very simple climax to the story of Messi not being affordable to Barcelona. It's novel but I think it could work. I reckon that over the course of the last lets say 5 years with image rights and advertising Messi has earned somewhere in the region of £500m or more. So if he is so upset at having to leave.......
