Never quite sure about that young man. Looked good at times but I think his attitude isn't quite there. Just got that impression rather than having any real knowledge.

Brendan Galloway has signed a short term contract......end of year I expect.

So injury prone Galloway can be got rid of if he breaks down long term in the new year......BUT if he doesn't have any injuries we can offer him a new contract in January and of course he could move on to another bigger club as well....so it cuts both ways.

If his health holds up....you would hope that he felt some allegiance to the club who took the gambol on him....and helped him get back to playing.....6 games in two seasons at Luton would make any club not want to risk him.

But the bigger club with the bigger buck could cash in on him and Argyle get nothing but half a season out of him.....thats life....and of course it is a short career even without injuries.

I look at this a slightly different way. He isn't the calibre of player we would perhaps normally expect. We have given him an opportunity but the offer is only short term. He has signed it even though there isn't much in the way of stability in it for him so he is willing to take an offer like that to prove his worth. He obviously realises that he is a risk and isn't putting the club who has offered him something to much at risk by trying to insist on more. We get out of it what we paid for if he lasts the course and he gets to advertise himself as a player worth risking. Win for us and win for him. If he does ok and lasts then he may well sign on again if offered but we don't lose if he doesn't.

We are being told that James Bolton looks unlikely to be fit for the start of the season, He is to see a specialist tomorrow about an ankle injury he suffered in training during pre-season.

Skybet have Argyle down as the 6th favourite for relegation.....we just need to strengthen our mid-field attacking options and another striker with some savvy and scoring ability and we'll finish higher than that.

According to today's Times, fans attending stadiums with a capacity of over 20,000 will be required to prove they've been double vaccinated. That leaves us out.

The trials that have taken place, including big crowds at international cricket and at Wembley for the Euros have shown that transmission in the stadium itself is quite rare but there is some risk in the concourses. The concourses at Argyle are busy for the game: beer and Sky Sports on the TV's being the attractions.

It's just a continuation of the stupidity of this Government who couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery. I have yet to see any of their advice or rules that make any sense whatsoever. Half of the grounds in league one could only get half of their 20,000 in so none of them will come under the passport rule, But, if they get capacity crowds at any time they will be rammed full so what is the difference with a rammed lower league stadium and a 60% full premiership stadium where you would in fact have far more space. Not that I agree with the passport thing in the first place. You cannot announce freedom day and then start to water that down when it doesn't fit. Either you open up the World or you keep it shut. Halfway measures is not the answer here. Bit like the ping app. What is this exemptions thing all about? Either you need to isolate or you don't and letting half of the pinged population to just carry on without any restrictions makes no sense. Actually I go back to my original statement. All of the things this bunch of idiots bring in makes no sense.

A week back grandaughter visits old school friend she hasn't seen for a month or so.....next day phone call saying this friend had just tested positive....so grandaughter cannot go on the end of year school trip to a well known Zoo here in Kent....or the last few days to school before the summer hols....also has missed out on young peoples camping holiday.....grandson finished school but also was lined up for a trip away with youth club.....My son self employed...has a greetings card franchise....cannot visit his shops....daughter-in-law cannot go to St Thomas's Childrens Hospital where she is a nurse....but can work from home with phone link-ups.

All are testing negative....but what a total upset it has caused.

I have found that 50/60% of people have dropped the mask wearing in shops/supermarkets....even quite a few of the elderly....social distancing seems impossible to achieve.....hand sanotizers in shop door ways can be empty as well.

I just read that Luke McCormick's son has just signed a contract for Argyle. Apparently he is a Keeper. If he is anywhere as good as his father then we have another keeper of interest on the way. I'll bet my house he won't make the same mistake his father did.

    So Argyle are offering.....

Argyle TV Annual Pass..... at £45.00.....all good content accept match day live games.
    Argyle TV Monthly pass.....at £4.50..............................ditto..............................................................

None would be showing live match content.

It looks as if Live Match Streaming for league matches will not be happening......I bet there are many....100's even 1000's of exiles who would have taken that up....obviously PAFC would be concerned if locals bought streaming passes instead of turning up at the full entry prices to watch.

There must be elderly or sick locals that would have jumped at such an offer.

Unfortunately the digital rights have been sold en masse by the EFL and therefore individual clubs don't have the right to show live coverage.
