Supposed to be summer here as well but so far it has forgotten to arrive. Cool and wet and that's the weather not the lake. I heartily concur with the white wine though.

As of today, Argyle are saying "nearly 5,500" full season tickets sold, similar to last year when of course we thought we might be hovering around the edges of the promotion race! How wrong we were.

Portsmouth have dropped out of the chase for Freddie Ladapo.....seems they couldn't agree on wages.

This leaves Sunderland a clear run...assuming they can agree wages.

I shall be disappointed if he goes for less than £500,000....personally £750,000 would compensate us for his loss.

I think Freddie might have a bit of an inflated idea of his worth as a player. If we get £500k for him, and that is a big if, then I would think we have done very well.

I've just been looking around the who has signed what stuff on various sights and have come to the conclusion never mind how many tickets Argyle have sold, it's about time we signed some players for those people to actually go and watch. I'm waiting for this supposed signing spree the Herald was on about earlier this week.

So does Freddie Ladapo want to go so far north away from his roots in the south....it looks like Sunderland will be testing his resolve by offering him a contract soon.....they have I assume agreed a price with Argyle like Portsmouth had....before they pulled out over wages.....supposed to have been £500,000.....they had offered so we're told £400,000 in January.

Just been going through the fixture list and you could probably hear my rant from wherever you are. Even in the Rockies BC. Every year is the same isn't it. First game away for starters and I just knew it would be. Boxing day away as I knew it would be every year the same. I am also away for the first home game of the season as it turns out and I just knew that would happen as well. It's going to be game 4 before I see any.

I love the explanation that they use this organisation that scrutinises all of the clubs to produce "the best" for them fixtures wise. It's astounding that every single season Argyles best is always the same at certain times of the season. I fail to understand why Exeter isn't either home or away over one of the seasonal periods. At least this time for boxing day it's Cheltenham which isn't the furthest fixture they could come up with on a Bank Holiday with no public transport.

That's the way I like it- not using my real name in public also helps! - at least that way the more extreme elements struggle to track me down...
